Personal Introduction: Dr Lu has devoted to teaching reform with a focus on curriculum construction and resource development. She chief-edited more than ten surgical nursing textbooks, built several national-level excellent courses, and shared the teaching achievements and experiences with the peers to improve the level of nursing education in China. Dr Lu leads the research team to focus on oncology clinical nursing research, primarily to conduct a series of research on two issues--breast cancer-related lymphedema and nutrition management in head and neck cancer under radiotherapy. Her work provides practical assessment tools and solutions/strategies for clinical practice and promote the evidence-based nursing practice. It is particularly worth mentioning that Dr Lu pioneered the construction of the first core nursing doctoral course in China--Nursing Philosophy and Theoretical Construction. Doctoral students from eight top nursing colleges in China can learn together to share the understanding of the nature of nursing from the philosophical and theoretical perspectives and explore the structure of nursing knowledge. This course promotes the construction of the nursing discipline system in China and has a profound impact on the development of nursing science in China. |
